TRACFONE is one of the worst phone companies created. DONT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU JUST WANT TO FLUSH YOUR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN LITERALLY!!! I will never add another dime to this raggedy trash phone again in life!! This company need to be banned from America. I can't see how they are still in business. Their customer service is a joke. It's definitely not any service customer or phone horrible. TracFone is a bootleg low budget company. You would do better getting a free phone off the streets.

Run away! They gave misleading information (12GB prepaid plan for $199), the 12GB means one year total, not per month! I added another 1GB data for $10 but it never kicks in my account, I called their ‘technical support’ four times and they only ask me to power on and off my phone without checking their system issue! They even pretended that they cannot hear my question when I asked what actions they are taking. I cannot stand the service and transfer out after two months and it is such a waste of my time and money. What they do is just to purchase prepaid plans from the main carriers, split the data usage and sell it to the customer, they don’t have any technical support and the customer service is doing nothing.

I made 3 phone calls just now and they hung up on me when I made my request. With the last person I told him I wanted a yes or no answer. Will tracfone correct caller ID to reflect my name and remove the name of the previous owner of the number. He said sure but I need to transfer your call to a higher department to do that. Right. As soon as I was put on hold my call was disconnected. Three times in a row this happened. What a lame way to run a business. Everyone is scripted and couldn't help you if they tried.

Wow I thought it was bad when us cellular left me high and dry 4 yrs ago pretty sure tracphon has them beat was good for about a year and a half here recently I couldn't hangup after a call and when I would try the camera mode would come on called a rep and for security he wanted everything including the kitchen sink to identify me now my phone is so messed up I can't even use it

tracfone is the worst. do not use them.
just spent almost 2 hours trying to add 1000 texts.
bought last nite on their ebay store, those havent showed up yet.
tried to add more with their website, impossible..
after i log in with password and type in my number at least 3 times, and get into my account
with them, they say 'alert undefined'.
chat box pops up with ' how can we help you', try to type, but won't accept any typing in chat box.
finally find telephone number to call, after long process get a live operator, she puts me thru the third degree with many questions. after about 15 minutes on phone she is able to add 1000 texts. she cant tell me about the texts i bought last nite on their ebay store.
the day my service plan ends, i will use somebody else for service.
their rating on this BB site is 1 out of 5. if we could chose zero, they would surely rate zero.

After 14 months of service I tried to upgrade my phone with a dealer bought phone. It wasn't compatible with their network despite buying it from a TracFone contracted dealer. They did NOT resolve the issue so I changed plans. I was just going to use my old phone with a new provider. I was told by a customer service representative that my phone automatically unlocked locked after 1 year of service. Now I'm trying to use it on my new plan and their tacking on additional fees to give me the unlock code

Why would you shut off my service 4 days early every month????? You left me stranded!!!! Then on top of that I cant access my voicemail. This is the worst phone service on the planet. It's like putting money in a pay phone that's not even connected to anything. You should be ashamed for stealing $ from honest people.

I paid for a new phone through them online and they sent me a refurbished phone. Then the phone won’t connect to service and can’t receive calls even from TracFone for help. So I got a refurbished phone that doesn’t work and they wouldn’t give me a return label to return the device. This company is horrible.

WORLD'S WORST CONSUMER SERVICE! I lost my 6241 minutes without contact, lost my 1 year service plan twice $100 each, sent back phone that didn't work at my own expense and no refund and all I got was LIP SERVICE FROM AGENTS I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND LANGUAGE BARRIER!!!!!!!!!!!!! 17 HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH THEM AND NO HELP!!!!!!!
